Lounge plan for CPAC
We're off on our CPAC next week, and I'm coming up with the lounge plan. We're eligible for the F lounges everywhere except MEL (MEL-SIN is in C). Any suggesstions?
SFO - domestic RCC (no choice here)
LAX (2 hour connection) - UA (I don't think there's any choice)
SYD (<2 hour connection) - NZ (I assume this is the best of the F lounges here)
MEL - SQ SKL (this segment is in C)
SIN - we're flying UA - what's the best lounge for us?
NRT (3+ hour connection) - NH
ICN - OZ or SQ?
NRT - NH
SFO - UA arrivals
Thanks.

LAX - you have a choice of UA RCC and IFL only. The other *A lounges are airside in terminals you won't have access to.
SYD - NZ no longer has an F lounge, but the lounge is better than SQ F anyway.
MEL - I'd take NZ lounge, assuming it is open. SQ C lounge (or F lounge for that matter) is not great.
SIN - SQ T3 F lounge is best (T2 F lounge is getting rather tired). If you are flying (paid) SQ from SIN then you also have access to The Private Room (inside the main T3 F lounge), otherwise only the main F lounge.
ICN - no SQ lounge any more.

It may be familiarity, but I prefer the layout, I think the food is better
( definitely easier to see what's on offer), the internet/business area is better, enclosed smoking room if needed, and more.

I like the Sauv Blanc's in NZ lounge they usually have, but when I was there last, I liked the SQ lounge better for the afternoon food and bubbly....

I recall last year that the NZ lounge had much better food than the SQ lounge. What made the SQ lounge nice was that we were the only ones in it because everyone else was in he NZ lounge.
I wish *A would update their lounge guide - they still say there's an NZ F lounge at SYD and an SQ lounge in ICN.
