Which *A program offers the best value?

Hi,

I'm about to take some upcoming trips on a few *A airlines. I'm just wondering which FF program offers the best overall value.

My flights are on AC, US, and UA, so I'm interested in picking one of them. I'll probably be earning about 10-15k miles a year, on discount economy tickets. As I'm now living in YVR at the moment, so AC may be the airline I will use the most out of these all.
Which program offers the best value? Best mile redemption? Any opinions/comments?

Thanks,

Josh

This seems a better topic for the Star Alliance Forum; I'll move this there.

usually the airline you fly the most is best value - they usually offer the best
goodies to pax flying their own flights.

I'm thinking that US might give the best value in terms of bang per mile. I just redeemed 80K miles for a business class award from the East Coast to Europe using Lufthansa for the longhauls, and US and UA for the domestic hops. This was for travel within 5 days of the reservation earlier this week. I checked a similar trip on Delta (not *A, I know) but it was in the 150K-180K mile range. Similarly, it was 180K miles for an award on UA.
