Best connection ZRH - TPE
I have a business trip ZRH - TPE next year in summer (client is planning ahead) and would like to explore the options. I'll certainly fly BIZ. Any thoughts which would be the best airline choice/choice of connections in terms of seat comfort, meals, IFE etc?
I do not have experience to Asia, expect for a single flight ZRH-NRT with Swiss 2 years ago in BIZ.

Many options, best for comfort would be SQ all the way ( ZRH-SIN, SIN-TPE).
But total transit time is approx 19 hours.
TG also offers ZRH-BKK-TPE with fairly good service and total transit time
of approx 16 hours.
Shortest flying time would be LX to HKG, then choice of many flights
to TPE, but not Star.

My preferred option on this route would be non *A on CX from FRA:
ZRH-FRA on LX/LH then
FRA-HKG-TPE on CX
alternatively on *A it would be with SQ on their 77W J class:
ZRH-SIN-TPE
...if you want to do it "on the cheap", there is also an EVA Air flight IIRC from AMS-BKK-TPE. The new EVA Business class seems to be quite nice.

Fastest transit time is via BKK on TG (16:20), NRT on LX/NH (16:50), HKG on LX/TG (17:10), BKK on LX/TG (17:40), FRA-NGO on LX/NH(18:15) and SIN on SQ (19:10). Keep in mind schedules might change and affect transit times, but BKK and NRT seem to be the winners here.

I read the part that I quoted in my post to mean that you were saying there were no *A options HKG-TPE. According to the *A timetable, transiting on HKG to TPE is only 80 minutes longer than TG to BKK. If staying on *A the entire way is desired, and if LX metal is needed for HON qualification, than this is probably the most desirable. Otherwise, its just one of many options.
