Turkish Airlines
I suppose this have been discussed before. But does anyone know when exactly Turkish Airlines will join Star Alliance???
I am also a member of SAS Eurobonus FF-programme. But I think this programme have become crap! So I will close this and start a FF-programme with Turkish Airlines (Smiles & More) or Lufthansa (Miles & More). But I am not sure which one I should choose. Does anyone here have any experience with both? Which one should I choose?

G-day skrosvik,
Although no one is saying when they will join, this info is on the AAdvantage web site.
Turkish Airlines " Service between the U.S. and Europe, within Europe and beyond. The AAdvantage partnership will be discontinued effective March 30, 2008. "

The "Chairman's message" or whatever it's called at the beginning of the current Turkish Airlines magazine says that the entry will be complete by the end of March, for whatever that's worth. Here's to crossed fingers.

New international destinations too (including IAD)
According to today's Turkish Daily News, TK is also adding 11 new destinations in 2008 (http://www.turkishdailynews.com.tr/a...?enewsid=94095).
I did a Google search found one site (unofficial) that cited IAD and YYZ as among the 11. This would, of course, go along well with entry in *A. (Strange that there is no mention of this news on the THY web site, although I am sure that a more extensive search could find the official list somewhere.)
