I think this seems pretty basic (so I must be missing something)
You're going to need to get between DEL and HYD on your own or connect via SIN or BKK.
Assuming you get a one way and use that as a surface sector you could fly-
roc-ord-lhr-fra-del//hyd-sin-nrt-sfo-iad-pvd
I dunno. Just an idea.

You have lots more miles available even on the lowest level (29k miles), and even with a DEL-SIN-HYD detour. If you take surface sector DEL-HYD then have enough miles left to do 2 round trips US east coast-west coast.

OK... this is where I get confused....
I assumed that when I return to the US, my trip is over.... so I am not sure how to get two US trips added and still not violate the rules... unless I am just being really dense here... and I have been told that before...

I think you can bounce around inside any country as long as you don't transition the same city more than 3(?) times (assuming you still have miles left over). If you play around with the RTW Calculator, you can find some very interesting itineraries...

The *A round the world doesnt have backtracking rules (other than between IATA regions), so you can continue flying around USA when you get back. You will need to:
stay within US/Canada (once you return to country of origin cannot leave it again and Canada is counted as same country as US for the purpose of this rule)
stay within your total mileage limit
make sure no more than 3 transfers at any one city
make sure no more than 1 stopover at any one city
stay within 24 total flights on the ticket
finish within 12 months
--
So with lots of mileage up your sleeve you could do a couple of mileage runs on the RTW ticket. If possible book on 2-class domestic flights so you get the first class service bonus. Assuming you are crediting to UA then some short flights are also good (for the minimum mileage earning).

Without having checked the miles you could do something like ROC-IAD-ORD-SFO-LHR on the outbound and HYD-SIN-NRT-JFK-SFO-IAD-BOS/PVD on the inbound.
