It's not directly over, you can have three transfers (connecting flights) from ROC on the outbound and three to BOS/PVD on the inbound, combined with three stopovers in the US (+1 in Canada if you want).
Without having checked the miles you could do something like ROC-IAD-ORD-SFO-LHR on the outbound and HYD-SIN-NRT-JFK-SFO-IAD-BOS/PVD on the inbound.
