I'll put this here instead of *a

I was flowing out of EWR early evening. It was well past dusk and noticed a plane with "Star Alliance" painted on it but could not make out any details. Does anybody know what this is?

By the my first time in EWR. I am not sure that I like the layout, especially if connecting to another carrier - but was not there long to ascertain whether my impressions were correct. It is certainly much simpler at ORD.

Thanks.

All *A members are required to paint a number of planes in their fleet in the *A livery.

Well it seems like *A query to me...

Each airline is going to paint at least one aircraft with the new livery. The operating carrier will be identified by its logo located on the forward part of the aircraft fuselage below the Star Alliance name.

Suprised this is a first sighting for you, they are quite a common sight around the world..

I only just started flying again 2 weeks ago, but will gone most every weekend for the next 2 months. That does include an overseas vacation.

At present I read this board more than the staralliance.com.

Thanks for the response.

Beware the moderators - this isn't enough reason for them to allow an off-topic post.

Also, before iluv2moderate mentions it, be sure to use descriptive thread titles.

Mea Culpa.

Will try to do better in the future.

I edited my last response, I meant "staralliance.com" not "staralliance board". I do check that one out regularly.

But thanks to all for the response to my question and the gentle reprimand.

Can this thread now be deleted before I get into trouble.

Most likely it was an SK a/c...

...as others have noted, *A members are required to have some aircraft in the alliance livery...

It's all about the power of the :-:
