Nice; It means you can take F where it is available. You should be able to re-route, but you may be required to pay a ticket reissue fee (125 USD)(plus of course any extra taxes or surcharges). You can can include up to 29,000 miles in the fare you have, so you may as well make the most of it.

Since you're in F, what you want is SQ for JFK-FRA. SQ has a bilateral with VS which would allow you access to the Clubhouse at JFK.

Does anyone know where I can find how different *A carriers booking class codes map to UA booking class codes? Fore example, Lufthansa S is equivalent to UA S always or something else? I'm especially interested in Lufthansa, US Airways, bmi codeshare on UA metal and UA codeshare on Lufthansa metal. TIA

edit: I diidn't know this thread was in the Star Alliance forum. I came to it by a UA forum sticky.

AC and UA has Z-discounted business class for booking now. I understand UA also started a discounted first class but I dont know the booking code yet.
