Just the other day, I got refused at the BKK-SQ lounge, being SQ*G on an OS ticket, arriving TG(J) and departing LX(F). I got redirected to the TG lounge. Where I did not go due to limited time. The Miracle lounge in the Satellite "happily" accepted me for the 10 mins I had left.

After being rejected with my TG boarding pass, I was assured by the staff that I would be allowed as a *A gold if I was flying SQ with an SQ boarding pass. Will be testing this out next week

TBH, the BKK SQ lounge is pretty disappointing, it really needs an overhaul, furniture looking pretty beaten up and many places (especially the area immediately right of the entrance) have a "dust"-smell. For now, my personal opinion, the Thai Orchid is the best *A lounge in BKK, with EVA a good second place.

Just recently gave it another try and was now allowed in at Thai/EVA/SQ/TK.

Yes, fortunately the BKK airport "flying carrier lounge only" policy
has been rescinded.
