Possible to Status Match TK Elite (*Gold) to Air China Phoenix Miles?
I have a *G through TK but live in China and would like to status match over to Air China.
AC gives me next to nothing and I'd like to status match but their phone hotline is useless, not even familiar with the concept.
Has anyone here had better luck than me? How did you do it?

Airlines don't tend to status match within their own alliance.

Air China never provide status match. But actually you can enjoy the same Star Alliance Gold benefits when you fly with Air China or Shenzhen Airlines.
