All long haul flights from Asia to Europe and internal European flights must be on Lufthansa.

All flights flying from/to Australia and America must be with United Airlines, the flights to and from Vancouver and Hawaii must be with Air Canada and the flights to/from Australia and Asia must be with Singapore Airlines

I got really excited when I found the fares from Perth, and they were slightly cheaper....until I read the fine print that said travel via America is not allowed from Perth.

This fare is NOT new. It has been around for yonks. It is just the C version of the LH Y RTW cheapie discussed elsewhere. True, it does allow cheap C class travel on SQ/TG/QF to asia, then LH to europe and UA/AC from the west coast of the US back to Australia, however the big limit on this kind of fare is that if you want the US, you must fly LH FRA-SFO/LAX to connect with UA. Yes, you can stop there and get domestic add-ons (like a Star visit north america pass), but it's not the most flexable "RTW" fare out there. Indeed it really is a RUR fare that allows a return via an AP routing rather than EH both ways.

Just thought I'd mention that.

ozstamps well it all adds up doesn't it?
As RichardMel pointed out the fare gets you to the west coast of America, and any flights within America are extra. I need to go at least to Houston and Miami.
It's not worth it when I have to keep adding fares on. I can buy a RTWSTAR1 fare which will also include Vegas, Orlando. Not to mention Pittsburg for a day visiting with family
