STAR RTW - is SFO and SJC considered the same stopover

Anyone know if I would be able to stopover in SFO and then go somewhere else and stopover in SJC as part of a STAR RTW?

(Also, JFK/EWR/LGA etc.)

thanks.

You might try SMF (Sacramento) for San Francisco area. About 90 miles.

Monterey (MRY) is close if you want to go to San Jose. 60 miles or so.

Monterey is not a bad place to visit in itself, too.

United Express flights every hour or two to LAX and SFO.
