lounge access with Silk Air?
I'm *A gold, flying to Hanoi on SQ, with one segment on Silk Air. I bought the ticket from SQ. Am I allowed to use the lounge in Singapore before the Silk Air segment? Thanks --

It's so annoying, especially when I bought the ticket from Singapore Air. I didn't realize until later that one of the segments was on Silk Air.

At the flight selection page, you should see 'operated by Silkair'.

I don't think it helps though given the OP is United 1K.

A question for the OP - would you have booked Thai, EVA etc instead if you had known that this was a SilkAir flight and therefore not really *A?

Lesson learned...you may be SA Gold and have SQ or Air NZ tickets on flights operated by Silk Air and Thai Smile ...you will have no lounge access to any SA lounge. Thai Smile & Silk Air are owned Thai Airways and SQ
