Can I transfer or combine several FF mile to one?

Can I transfer or combine several FF mile to one?
Does anyone know if I am able to take miles I have earned with United, USAirways and Luftansa into one account so that I have enough in total to use towards an upgrade on Air China?

I'm not sure how the upgrade with miles thing works for Air China so you will have to do your own research on that, but you can transfer miles between accounts at points.com. The exchange rate is often quite bad and most people do not think its worth it except for certain top-up situations.

No you generally cannot convert miles between different frequent flyer programs, even in the same alliance.
