Baggage interline questions -- for both directions
I booked a *A award through US. My outbound looks like this:
PHL-MUC US
MUC-BKK TG
BKK-SGN TK
My return is:
DPS-BKK TG
BKK-PEK TG
PEK-CDG CA
CDG-PHL US
On the outbound flights, will my bags go to SGN?
On the return flights, I have a 17 hour layover, at CDG, so I may want to check my bags to CDG. Can that short-check be granted? And since I have to transit through PEK, do I have to retrieve my bags just as I had to do when I connected in PVG earlier this year?
