Baggage on Asiana code share with Eva

I'm *G (UA 1K), so able to check >1 bags on *A carriers if in economy. I have a short flight in economy marketed/ticketed by Asiana from TPE to ICN (no worries about this segment) and from SEL to TPE (operated by Eva but still Asiana flight number - this is the one in question). Any ideas as to which baggage policy applies here? I need to check in with Eva at ICN on my way back, so wondering if *A benefits apply since ticket is issues by Asiana.

Dear ILikeComfort,

The baggage rule of Eva shall apply, and not of the *A. Even it's codesharing flights, actual rules will follow the operating carrier's.

Hope to have informed you well,

Operating carriers rule will apply, so you get Eva's bag allowance. The only case where the marketing carrier rule applies is on ex-US codeshare flights, where there is an exception to the IATA "most significant carrier" rule.
