Valid *A RTW?
I'd like to buy an *A RTW ticket in economy and am wondering if the following routing is valid:

SYD-BKK-LAX-ORD-FRA-BKK-SYD

Any insights or recommendations?

Looks like a valid routing. But you must have at least three stopovers of 24 hrs or more in each three of them.

The GCM counts this as 29,279 miles. The cutoff for a YRWSTAR1 is 29,000. Thus, as is, you'd have to pay for 34,000 (YRWSTAR2). You'll therefore probably want to either trim a little, or flesh it out to get full advantage out of what you're paying for.

SYD-SIN-SFO-ORD-FRA-BKK-SYD would be under 29K, if that works for you.

Thank you! I think I'll expand given I can go up to 34,000.

Am I able to insert a side-trip? SYD-BKK-LAX-ORD-FRA-BKK-PEK-BKK-SYD

I presume there's no problem going through BKK two/three times providing only one time is a stopover?

You can have a maximum of 3 transfers in any one city but why not route through SIN (and get the SQ A380) or ICN from PEK?
