A31-60 and B31-60? Does this mean the distribution is now A: 60, B: 60, C: 27 rather than 45-45-47 like it used to be?

Nov 8th

Also part of the new procedure is a definite tightening of the rules on when non-rev pax get to board.

The rumor is that the pay-for-A or whatever revenue enhancement product will be announced this week.

The thinking seems to be that someone who paid extra to board earlier will get torqued if they are standing at the gate and see the ops agent let a bunch of his buds and commuting pilots pre-board.

One of my coworkers was talking up a gate agent in Chicago last week, and according to the gate agent CP's should be happy with the changes that will be announced shortly to go along with the new boarding process.

Mrs. GoSpurs just arrived in BWI and reported that they will begin the new boarding procedure Thursday, Nov. 8. Excellent, since I will be through there on Friday.

What about OAK?

Any word on whether the new boarding system is up and running at Oakland yet?

That will make this CP holder happy, might also provide some more incentive to achieve CP status.
