I just completed a flight that had a major route change due to weather. Actual track went from PHX towards BHM then northeast towards PHL. Even though the initial track over ELP was correct, I noticed that the new flight tracker kept changing the history trail from what was actually flown to a direct line from origin to destination with a great circle arc thrown in for aesthetic purposes. By the time the airplane arrived it showed that we were somehow near Chicago.

Is it still powered by MapQuest?

I've tried the flight tracker once or twice since the change. Don't even open it anymore.
I am still perplexed as to what WN gained with our loss.

I noticed on my flights over the weekend that the tracker would randomly report eta's and time to destination that was way way off, sometimes getting longer and longer despite our moving towards the destination. Pretty much useless, really.

Don't forget that you must be in a window seat and be able to get the antenna near and pointed out the window.
