Charlotte - Things to do downtown with kids, Feb. '24

We'll be spending two nights in downtown Charlotte for a kids' athletic event next month and are looking for some advice on things to do with the two children who are not competing... Having trouble finding much through internet searches and didn't see anything going back two years in this forum. While we are at it, any food recommendations would be appreciated. Always like a brewery, and most of us in the family will eat anything. Thanks in advance...

How old are the kids?
There is the NASCAR museum there.
And a children's science museum if they are younger: https://discoveryplace.org/visit/ as well as a cool children's library: https://www.imaginon.org/
There is a Bowlero bowling alley and Insomnia cookie shop in the Queen City Quarter. Shopping and other restaurants. https://www.queencityquarter.com/directory

Also, you could take the light rail to the East/West station and there are a couple breweries and other activities. Kind of an adventure.
Trolley Bar Fermentory and Food Hall - https://www.trolleybarnclt.com
Pins Mechanical https://www.pinsbar.com/faqs
Monday Night Brewing - https://mondaynightbrewing.com/
Sycamore Brewery (maybe no kids or food) https://www.sycamorebrew.com/

Also more breweries off the Bland station stop.

Thanks. Bowlero might be good - two teens and a preteen. I guess we'll just plan around eating and hope the hotel has a pool...

Never mind below. They are closed until March. Google maps lied to me.
Oh, if you have a car, Carowinds Amusement park is a short drive away. https://www.carowinds.com/
