Is DE coming back to MSY?

Have not heard anything about Condor returning and it is not currently on their schedule.

NEW ORLEANS The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is pleased to announce today that Condor Airlines will return to New Orleans in 2019 with seasonal, nonstop flights to Frankfurt, Germany.

Travelers can now book flights between MSY and Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) on Mondays and Thursdays from June 6 Sept. 23, 2019.

Flights on Mondays and Thursdays will depart New Orleans at 10:20 p.m. and arrive in Frankfurt the next day at 3:05 p.m., and depart Frankfurt at 3:30 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays and arrive in New Orleans at 7:35 p.m. the same days.

I guess this is an annual thread, but still no announcement and we are well past the announcement date from last year.

I'm sorry to say that Condor may be in major trouble. Thomas Cook (UK) has declared "insolvency" and Condor is part of Thomas Cook. Many Europeans have been stranded while on vacation and, apparently, the emergency funds have been insufficient to cover all the resulting necessary re-bookings to return passengers home.

I did receive some flight offers from Condor in the past few days, but I would hesitate to book anything long-range with them.

Good news, glad they are back. I still can't figure out the schedule (missing out on Oktoberfest) but will still be taking it for an easy trip.
