no need to worry for Oneworld, they pick the correct partner airline carefully. they are the only airline alliance that is still making profit. for China's case, as far as i know, HaiNan Airlines is under negotiation to be a OW airline soon.

it's insane that China Eastern is going to be a ST member, i fly a lot on MU, unlike some people, my opionion on MU is not that bad, they have the decend type of service, on time rate and passenger service, only thing i do not like is their FFP, you can never get anything out of that except lounge service, which sucks.

take a look at all the big 3 airline alliances, you will be able to find a couple of quality airlines out of *A (TG, SG) and OW (KA, CX, QF, AY), which airline can you call quality airline in ST???

no wonder why ST is the making the most loss out of 3 alliances.

^^ KE (Korean Air) is a pretty decent airline in ST

Of course, maybe you know the CHINA SHANGHAI 2010 EXPO.
It is very important for MU and China.

Excuse me, who is MU? Is that Haian Airlines, am I correct?

^^ MU is China Eastern Airlines. Hainan Airlines is HU.
