Aeromexico Seat Selection
As a Skyteam Elite member I thought I had the ability to choose seats on Aeromexico flights but I am unable to find the option to do so anywhere on their website. Has anyone been able to do this in the past?

What kind of ticket do you have and how did you get it? If you can pull it up under "VIEW A RESERVATION" off the main page you should be able to pick from there. Otherwise AFIK you will have to call them. I have never been able to get them to let me pre-book an exit row seat.

It is a business trip so the ticket was purchased through my company preferred travel agent's website. I can view my reservation using the "VIEW A RESERVATION" but there are no options to select/move seats.

I just booked two seats phx-mex-cun on AM in J. They gave me 2A on all four flights. I want 1A.
its available but they say, they will not assign the first row until i get to the airport. that sucks.
i just dropped a good amount of money, and i want the bulkhead. as of now, i am the only person in the entire J cabin.
I am ST elite. they sure do have a terrible seating policy.

Bulkheads are often reserved for airport assignment to accomodate passengers with disabilities. To claim that the policy is terrible just because you didn't get what you want is a small stretch, especially if they're doing it because they have a policy and not just because they're being ornery.

on the contrary, i have never seen a disabled passenger in a bulkhead seat on any airline. they usually allow them to board first, but then escort them to their seat in row 25.
AM's policy is stupid. and any airline who does the same in Y or J is also stupid (DL comes to mind with Y bulkhead). reserve some BH seats, yes, but all? no. If im paying a J fare and their are available Bulkhead seats, then i should be able to get one.

Hi, I did book 2 tickets on a LAX-MEX ( class D ) and was allowed to book 1A/1B at time of booking.
When i am reviewing the reservation, it only shows 1 seat assignement and i am not able to modify any details .... their website is really poor !
regards.

I usually book on AM's website. Not having the ability to select seats before has always meant that no seats were left except those reserved for airport control (I've called to ask...).
Not sure if booking through a travel agent changes that, but calling won't hurt.
