I am trying to book 2 flights from uk to us.
I easily booked one flight with Continental airlines they were quick, pretty efficent and only left me on hold for 2min.
Called flying blue what a different story was on hold for 12 min and the operators were slow. Less accomadating.
I found continental much easier to work not to mention the lower fees for travel.
Now I am thinking I will always give my continental card to get rewards..
Anyone else have similar experiences?

As regards fees, I would agree with you there - fees (mainly airport taxes) for US based airlines are generally much lower than european airlines, but this should be judged on the total fight price (althought the difference when booking award travel can be quite frightening!).

I'd encourage you to stick with Continental, particularly if you fly a lot. If you hit 50,000 miles (or elite qualification miles), you'll get complimentary membership in the Presidents Club; it allows you to access the clubs belonging to Northwest and Delta. You can also visit the clubs of airlines like flyBE. I also use KLM and Air France clubs, but I can't remember if that's because I fly BusinessFirst or because I am in the Presidents Club. Granted, it's really tailored to people that fly to the US a lot, but if you fit the bill, it's worth considering!
