Which ST program for accrual in D class?

I expect to be travelling between 30K and 60K miles per year on OK in D class. Which ST FF program offers the most miles (and status miles) for travel in D class? For example, if I joing the OK program, then I will receive double status miles for D class. Anything better? Which programs provide for lifetime status? Any other considerations?

DL is similar and offers lifetime status (at 1/2/4 million status miles). Probably you are best off to earn miles in the program where you want to redeem them (given the difficulties in Skyteam award availability).

Thank you number_6. DL's SM does offer double status miles (MQM) for D, but only 1.5x redeemable miles. Also, DL offers 500 miles minimum on short segments, but OK offers 1000 miles minimum.

How does DL count miles for million mile qualification? BIS miles (like UA), MQMs, redeemable miles (like AA)? Do miles flown on other ST airlines count toward million mile qualification?

If you care a lot about that level of detail: Alitalia has a minimum 1,200 miles per international segment. They are also offering 500 miles per segment for etix booked on their site all year. 2x bonus for J/F in SkyTeam.

So LHR-MXP return in J gets you up to 5,800 miles of which 4,800 are status miles. Not bad for a roundtrip of less than 1,200 miles.
