Comments about Czech Air?

I have been trying to get DL award tickets to Prague in mid-May. DL and AF are full. OK is full out of JFK and EWR. I have Biz seats booked out of YUL.

Question: With seats being so booked up, I assume that lots of people have flown OK. Any comments?

One gripe: The agreement OK has with DL is that a Biz seat is only honored on aircraft with Biz seats. Otherwise, the North American segments are in coach. That means, they'll fly someone in a BE seat, but not a standard FC (which isn't as nice as BE!).

I've only flown them from Nice to Praha, but the service was fine in biz.

Are they flying you to YUL and back on your award, as well??

I flew them from EWR to PRG, 3 yrs ago in Coach and they were fine. New plane. Remember, ask for a Gambrinius Beer! It is really good!

My itinerary is ASA from JAN-ATL (only flight that can get me there to catch), DL from ATL-YUL (coach because FC not in agreement for a Biz award seat on OK).

OK for YUL-PRG and PRG-JFK in Biz.

DL BE for JFK-ATL and then DL Coach for ATL-JAN (again, FC not in award agreement, but BE is).

<-shaking head->

I still don't understand how FC is better than BE.

Wow! I thought that they would require you to fly to EWR to JFK and take CSA, instead of to YUL. I guess there is some benefit to living not near a major hub!

Where do plan to stay and what do you wish to see while in PRG?

Perhaps I can be of help as I have been there.

The YUL-PRG flights are not on ANY of the on-line schedules I have looked at. However, apparently, DL can use any of four US gateways for OK (EWR, JFK, YUL, YYZ).

As far as PRG is concerned, I have no clue where I will be staying. I am arriving and heading directly to meetings on Friday and all day Saturday (through a late night dinner). I plan to take part of Sunday off and wander around. But, I've never been there and any suggestions would be welcome.

Fantastic city - wander across Charles Bridge in an afternoon and visit Prague castle.

This is the city that Disney modelled much of their designs after. Probably the most beautiful city in Europe (well one of them at least).

Not Neuschwanstein, mad King Ludwig's castle in modern-day Germany?
