Recent experience, avoid Air France.

I am not sure what is going on w/ Air France but the service is very expensive and offers very low service quality. We had over 200 customers flying to MPL and none of the Air France flights made it without major issues and horrible service. Problems ranging from lost baggage, delayed flights, missed connections and very, very long lines to talk to an agent. We lost half of our attendees to the meeting and quickly learned that you can book British Airways or KLM for more reliable results and much higher quality of service. You can fly into a surrounding country on KLM or BA to avoid Air France or any code shares. Note, the consensus is that you can book travel into a surrounding country and drive/train into France for much less money than trying to fly on Air France. Seriously, we found that you will save real money by paying $600 more to fly and drive/train to avoid Air France. Let's hope things improve.
