Sixt in Munich, Germany

I will rent a car (LDAR) in Munich.

Which station, except for MUC-airport (--> fee) , has the most “variety” of cars? Seitzstr., Munich Ost, Stachus?

Thanks for your recommendations.

I am not familiar with renting in Munich (always rent at the airport and there I never had any problems or lets say I always got what I wanted or even better) but I experienced (based on my rentals in Berlin and Hamburg) that the 24h stations always have a good availability of cars. So my choise would be Munich Ost but that's just a guess.

Actually , you may be surprise but nearest to the airport is the ArabellaSheraton Bogehausen. There, they have a relatively big carpark, good service and always plenty of models. Othwerwise 24h station always offer full range with availability, in Munich quite easy to reach

Does anyone know whether the variety of cars at Sixt Hilton City is big enough to get your choice of car eg: BMW 3er touring?
Planning trip in end jul.

Tanks.

If you register for Sixt Express you can see the choices in advance.

I don't know about the Hilton location but the Munich train station had a limited selection so when I chose a BMW I was told it could be a BMW or a Jaguar and it turned out that I got an Audi. If the Hilton location is smaller than the train station then I would imagine the selection is going to he limited.

Munich Train Station is a disaster when it comes to car rentals, irrespective of the rental company.
The garage operations are outsourced to some obscure company with zero customer skills. I advise avoiding it for other corporate location where Sixt, and Hertz, and Avis handle their cars themselves.

Any ideas on their inventory over at Sheraton Arabella? I'm holding onto a reservation for LTMR (Mercedes-Benz E200 CGI , BMW 4er Cabrio) and it's a "Meet & greet location". Any chance of an upgrade? I'm a Sixt Plat though..

I got a BMW 430d Gran Coupé on a LSMR reservation at MUC. Worst BMW car I have ever driven. No driving aids of any kind, cheap interior, horrible audio, no sunroof, no auto-hold, no M-Sport appearance package, etc... It was basically an econobox with a large engine.

Any idea what kind of choices I can get with an LDAR in Munich Grand Westin? Is there a way I can request with the branch ahead of time?

An update after my trip.
I rented a premium wagon car automatic, stated on website BMW 3seties touring or Jaguar or similar. It turned out to be Audi A4 wagon. The car was already in the hotel car park a day earlier. I went to the car park for Sixt car rental in the hotel basement, I saw mostly Audi there.
We collected the car and notified the staff that there was already some scratches on it. The staff said all in the record but to be safe, I sent the photos to them via email and demanded a reply. Few days later there was a reply from their claims dept acknowledging the scratches which is in the claiming process.
Upon returning the car at the West Messe branch in Frankfurt, we insisted the inspection to be gone on the spot. They did it and said all ok.
Within two hours, we got the post inspection report from Sixt saying all ok and the scratches was an old scratch.
Voila, it was smooth and pleasant experience for us with Sixt car rental in Munich and Frankfurt.
