Cheap Flights to BKK fr SIN?

What is the best way to book a cheap flight from SIN to BKK? Any suggestions on airlines to check with or should I be trying to get hold of a local travel agent in SIN?

On-line

www.airasia.com
www.jetstarasia.com

both have fairly inexpensive flights between the two cities that can be booked on-line.

Not sure if you're interested in premium cabin or not, but LX usually has excellent Z class SIN-BKK price for around $500 or so.

Just for the future (and for those folks with *A affiliations), TG sometimes has pretty good deals ex-SIN for flights back to their home. Bookable on zuji.com.

I did check Thai Airways, and even Swiss Air and others. The discount airlines had the most reasonable fares. I actually wanted to use my United miles to book a flight fr MNL-SIN-BKK-MNL but United said it was not possible.
