Flying debris from iconic statue scatters tourists. Repairs underway.

Wow. The Merlion is many things, but I never thought it would be a lighting pole, particularly with many other things in the near vicinity.

Good to hear no one hurt in the incident though.

It's a sign of divine anger at bad, overly contrived tourism attractions. Repent, or a freak typhoon will mow down Sentosa!
