Change in Award Ticket

I have an award ticket already issued. I was just wondering if I could still make a change (schedule change, wanting to leave earlier if at any possible).

Is there any fee associated with this? Thanks.

You will lose the 15% online booking discount if it was booked online; otherwies, IIRC, there is no fee for changing the flight times.

They aren't SQ flights though. They are UA's.

Even if these were SQ tickets, wouldn't there be some admin fee on top of the revokation of 15% online booking discount? I would imagine that someone who redeems the ticket by phone and thus not eligible for the 15% discount in the first place wouldn't have the luxury of making unlimited changes. Perhaps that's allowed for Flexi tickets but not Saver ones?

I'm not sure about that. All I know is that they deducted 25,000 from my account. The route is DFW-DEN-YVR-DEN-DFW.
My YVR-DEN-DFW wont arrive until 2200 that night, I would like to catch an earlier flight.

Oh, now we realise you're talking about US domestic flights. I thought perhaps a leg or two within your itenary is on SQ. I have a feeling our moderator will shift this thread out of this folder, which is inappropriate for this discussion.

Well I don't mind. I just thought I used my KF miles to redeem for these flights on UA so I thought I would ask about it in this forum.

Ok that explains it then! You weren't exactly clear in your original post, hence the confusion. Well I hope you have received the answer you need.

For Star Alliance awards using KrisFlyer miles (from an old flyer that may not be valid, best to call KMS and ask them):

"You can make changes to the destination or carrier on an issued ticket only if travel has not commenced at a charge of US$20 or 2,000 miles. Date and time changes for reserved flights are complimentary and can be made at any time"

Thanks so much! I've called them and the procedure is exactly like what you had explained above.
