My A380 SIN-HKG flight on April 26, 2024 just changes to Boeing 777-300ER...
My Airbus A380 SIN-HKG flight SQ 892 on 26 April has just changed to a Boeing 777-300ER.
There seems to be some changes to the HKG-SIN markets with both Scoot and Singapore Airlines.
Scoot looks like moving to double A321N daily instead of one 787 daily flight.
You may want to keep an eye out on those itineraries now!
It is sad to see the Airbus A380 being removed from the HKG market and I wonder where the A380s will be deployed.
Maybe SQ 25/26 will get back A380 (so my SQ 25 FRA-SIN will see an upgauge... LOL... in my dream...)!
Maybe some A380s are due for maintenance or there are some sort of aircraft cabin updates!

I think he is referring to SQ892 /893 which is the original A380 pair
seem like SQ remove the A380 from HKG for Apr n May.
don’t think it is for maintenance as nowadays there are alway 1 A380 out of action.
most likely SQ is deploying to other destinations such as LHR or Tokyo or Mel.

Affected my booking as well. Was originally booked on PVG-SIN on the A380, accepted their courtesy rebooking to HKG-SIN (without having Saver availability, did not get the miles difference back though). It's sad, but it is what it is.

I didn't receive any notification, but just logged in and found that my SIN-HKG flight was swapped from the A380 to the 773. Ugh!

So far, this process is painful again.
This morning I got a phone call about the equipment change. Could get a full refund or a change to another A380 flight. No Saver award availability was no problem.
Later today, after looking for some options in my agenda, called back. Change to my preferred dates was not possible due to.... no Saver availability....
I mean: ik appreciate that SQ offer a solution, but it's not easy to get it done. Now emailed customer relations again and hopefully I will get a solution after the weekend.
