Mhm, maybe it was missing on your version or you just didn't see it but on my version of the app for a flight on exactly the same route later this week, it has one of those little comments stating "A range of amenities are available on request, for flights longer than 6 hours. For flights less than 6 hours, you may approach our cabin crew to check on availability." They should probably extend that last bit to conclude "...only to be told that none was loaded on such a short flight." :rolleyes:

to be fair, it is not incorrect of them to provide that disclaimer.

This question is related to the upcoming opening of Terminal 2. To those Star Gold who have enjoyed access to the SilverKris Lounge in T3 while the KF Gold lounge is still under renovation, were you allowed +1 guest as well?

Just flew SFO-SIN-BKK. First SQ flights since Covid. Right up there with Qatar as far and away best overall flight experience since the pandemic began. Service was phenomenal. Meals a tick below pre-pandemic, but still solid. New SKL a big improvement over the old one, in both design and food offerings. The only thing I can really complain about was the single threadbare towel they give you in the SKL showers.

If you think SQ no longer offers a special product, suggest you spend some time flying US carriers. That will change your mind very very quickly.

SQ 725 HKT-SIN just had one of the best short duration experiences ever. Decent Champagne: Avayla (equal or better than the NF United services on Polaris IMO), fantastic seared tuna over fresh crabmeat salad with Indonesian chicken with fried rice...on a 1 1/2 hour regional flight with real footrests (adjustable angle and extension) in business class. PDB of water or OJ. Attentive FAs. Can't expect any better than that. Oh, and we were on time with no hassle boarding (aka gate lice, confusion etc).

I'd say SQ is at the top of their game right now.

On Sunday flight to DEN , drinks were offered and asked if we preferred enjoying pre - take off or after .
Probably a full flight , the 3 rows in J were all taken

BUT because our flight was delayed for 3 hours , “ minor technical issue “ , the ‘ Sunrise Meadow ‘ was served just before breakfast . Yes , we had to disembark .. thankful no change of AC necessitated 😅
