March 28, 2024 in the morning (Pacific Time):

Transferred 25K Chase points to KF and was informed it would take 1 - 7 business days.

However, it was in my account by 11pm the same day.

2 April 2024, Amex to KF, within 5 minutes. Maybe it was faster, but it showed up after I logged out of SQ's website and logged back in.

I’m glad this worked. But for the sake of others, I think it’s worth pointing out what a risky strategy this is, transferring such a hefty sum for your first-ever transfer into a newly-opened account.

There have been far too many horror stories where the initial transfer gets mucked up, points disappear for weeks, and awards dry up.

I think the best practice in this instance is to transfer 1,000, make sure it hits, then do the rest.

Not criticizing the OP, just making a suggestion for others.

respectfully, Jamie

To clarify - the KF account was pre-existing, and I've deposited >500k miles into it previously from other transfer partners. The Amex MR account has also transferred to other partners previously.

The 'newly enrolled' part is referring to Amex's terminology of 'enrolling' transfer partners. I had not transferred Amex US MR into the KF account previously.

those are all good points. But I hope you feel my post still had merit given on my initial understanding of your post. Personally clarity I’m very pleased that it all worked out for you.
