SQ KF LHR lounge is temporarily closed, as announced above. Notice (as of today, 2 March) says closure will last "from 8 February 2024 until mid-2024". Notice also directs SQ F pax to UA's lounge near B46 LHR.

Flew out of LHR in the weekend in J. Its interesting how the boarding pass (and email from SQ the day before) directs passengers to the Plaza Premium Lounge in 2A. Everyone in the know obviously uses the UA lounge. I suspect the cost to SQ is much lower for the PP lounge.
On another note was on the SQ 319 arrived at the UA lounge around 6pm until boarding. While the US flight passengers clear out around that time it was still fairly busy with other *A flights, but not packed.

Was in the United lounge yesterday, shower facilities closed after 5.30pm - not sure whether it was just that day or a permanent “enhancement”.

Showers were also closed when I was in the lounge about the same time 2 weeks ago.

Surely the AC lounge should be refurbished first - it's the most in need.

Not sure what that has to do with SQ.

Sounds like you have never been to the MLL directly opposite the SQ lounge at Heathrow and which would be the nearest lounge to go to when seeing that SQ waa closed.

Anyone that has will know what I mean.

Don't think SQ has much influence on the state of AC's lounges, or their refurbishment schedule.

Besides, the AC lounge is so small it would never have been a reasonable option as a replacement so that's all moot.

Refurbished or not, it doesn't matter if you can't even enter.

Not to mention the AC lounge closes too early for the evening SQ flights.

I used to like the SQ LHR business lounge, always quiet(ish), nice seating and good food selection. I hope the £3.5m does make it genuinely better.

Still no firm reopen date, I presume?
