Which lounge to use at Changi? Looking for recommendations.

Hello,

apologies if I'm in the wrong forum. I'm flying SIN to LAX via NRT on SQ in J. No status with SQ, but Star Gold and I have Priority Pass. Reading through the airport website, this seems to give me several options with regards to lounges at Changi.

As my flight departs at 1am, I'll probably have quite a few hours to kill at the airport, so I'm looking for lounge recommendations.

Thanks!

No question in business class the best option is the silver kris (SQ) business class lounge.

Business class gets you into SK Lounge. If you have a few hours to kill could try both the T2 and T3 lounges (your flight will depart from T3, so head to T2 first). T3 can get rather busy with JP, AU, EU, CN & KR late evening departures. T2, will be much quieter it mainly serves LX & LH at that time of night.

In T3 walk past the SATs and disappointing Krisflyer Gold lounges and go straight to SilverKris.
For Singapore Airlines Silver is better than Gold. I have no idea why either.

Because it's not a Silver lounge as in silver vs gold status, but Silverkris, a reference to the kris/keris knife and its distinct silvery look from the metal combinations.

One is SilverKris lounge and the other is Krisflyer Gold lounge.

You just mix it up yourself.
