Credit card verification at Check-in
If I book a SQ ticket from a travel agency, does SQ still ask for a Credit card verification at check-in?
Planning to get a ticket for a friend and I wouldnt be there.
SQ said I have to mail in all sorts of documentation etc if I am not going to be there.
So, if I buy from say Expedia, will a credit card verification still be needed?

No, it shouldn't be required. Be careful though as buying from Expedia generally force the fare to be the lowest which can be equivalent to 'sweet deal' on SQ website and mileage earning is zero to 50% depending on which airline you want the miles to be credited to. I'm generally not comfortable not seeing which fare class it is before finalizing the purchase unless the program allows 100% accrual on all fare classes.

HawaiiO, if your friend has a KrisFlyer account, there should be a way to do a booking on your credit card through the website without the verification rigmarole, as well, if that is a viable option for you.
