I tried using the Air Canada award booking system, but it seemed to show higher redemption rates than what shows on Continental's site. J class was showing up 80k RT and F as 110k RT on CO's site, but on AC J was another 5k miles and F another 10k miles. Anybody know why it's like this? Also (unless I am doing something wrong), I can't seem to get CO to show any SQ flights.

That's because AC has recently changed it's redemption rates, i primarily use AC or ANA just to find award availability and then book with the airline whose miles i wanna use.
Must be some issue with the CO system.

It's half what you quote in your original post - I'd forego the miles for $500 but suit yourself.
