I just finished 6 nights stay at the hotel and it's still delievers excellent value for Platinum members.  I stayed at this hotel around 2 months on and off during 2013-2014 period and returning almost after 5 years I still find the hotel still delievers excellent value especially for Platinum members.

Check In

I Most of time I didn't have to wait too long to check-in.  FD agents proactively offered late check-out most of time. For Platinum members, in addition to free breakfast, FD agents provides a hot and cold drink coupons per day (in lieu of lounge).  I always received a welcome snack too.

Room

I don't think rooms are refurbished recently and there are signs of wear.  But I found my room to be clean and still in good shape. 

Service

I ususally don't require much attention but service has been good.  I find staffs friendly and they always greets you.  I always opt-in for Green Choice for 250 points.

Parking: The self parking is free and it's covered parking lot which uses part of ADNEC parking.  I always prefer self since it's faster than valet to go fetch the car.  BTW valet parking is AED 50/night.

Laundry facility:  There is a pair of washer an dryer machines on 5th floor for long term guests.  They use coin which you can purchase at the front desk

Dining

Since I only used snack bar and ate breakfast, I can't comment on other dining options.  Its breakfast is very good which custom ordered egg option.

Location

Location is not ideal for everyone but works for me.  It's not near downtown nor other tourist attractions but it's one of the closest hotels near my work location.  There are a Carrefour Market and a few dining options near by.

Overall

Abu Dhabi Aloft has been my go to hotel for Abu Dhabi business trips and it will continue to be my first choice.  Because of its Plantium recognition and its rate, it still offers very good value.
