I believe credit goes to xliioper for the info in the 2024 wiki which was carried over to this year.

New menu link here

Current 2026 First Class meal service status -- FC meal service consists of plated meals (including hot options) between hubs and to/from most larger stations (exception stations listed below only receive cold meal box options) on flights over 900 miles which depart before 9PM (scheduled). Pre-selection is available on routes with plated meal offerings, while it is not available on cold meal box routes. In addition, flights over 2300 miles will receive meal service in FC for departures after 9PM. Note: There are several exception routes from SEA that offer two menu choices and are sub-900 miles.

Snack boxes are generally offered on redeye flights under 2300 miles.

Meal service is not provided on flights under 900 miles (with the exception of SEA-SFO/LAS/SLC/SJC which get 2 plated cold options)

All D1 flights, domestic and international, receive hot meal service.

Current exception stations where there may not be hot meal service (due to lack of meal catering contract) are below. Cold meal boxes had been the norm on these flights, but DL seems to be offering hot meals on many of these flights now. However, Market/Bistro shelf stable snack boxes may be served on flights that are AM return flights to hubs from previous evening arrivals (meal will be listed as "Snack Breakfast" on these flights):

any one else agree these entrees need to be scrubbed ?
I've quite enjoyed them, although I agree your beef looks a bit on the smaller side there. The last time I had the Jose Andres Braised Beef it was a good sized portion and tasted excellent (posted a bit above). Chicken Catalan has been good too. While I am looking forward to another menu refresh, I have found these dishes to be pretty good.

Anyone happen to know the dessert on LAX-JFK in D1? The current menu on menu.com is showing grilled shrimp for dessert along with a cheese plate lol I thought the glitch would be fixed by now but it hasnt.

I'm assuming this is a DL.com glitch.
We originally had booked LGA-EYW and it was on an A220, but DL changed the departure and downgraded the aircraft to an E170 operated by Republic Air. Flight 5821 on 4/25.
However, ALL dl.com LGA-EYW flights for 5821 (non-stop) show no services. No drinks, no snacks, no meal, nothing. menu.delta.com gives an error.
I've called (don't trust the chat reps) and the rep had to get her supervisor and they were at a loss to explain why it shows no service, other than to say "it's operated by Republic so it may not show in our system until a few days prior to departure." But even the flight that leaves in 2 days shows the same thing (no drinks, no snacks, nothing).

I'm going out on a limb and *assuming* there will be drinks, snacks, and a sad box (since E170 has no oven) but possibly catering out of LGA will be a slightly better cold/continental breakfast.

Not sure if menu.delta.com is normally throwing errors for any flight operated by Republic or not.

Should be normal catering full bev and snack service, and a fresh cold meal option choice. Should not be a sad box.

Im not sure how to respond as someone who likes mustard enough. I mean, it’s not like you’re drinking a bottle of French’s. I thought it was just another flavor that made the overall curry sauce.

Why not just get the burger or the chicken and be safe?

I've had this dish from Boston and I think the best way to describe it almost is a cajun cream sauce with veggies. Didn't even know it was mustard.

Does Delta allow preorder of child meals in D1? Is the way to do this selecting it as a special meal first, and then waiting for a selection menu one week out?

Does LAX-ATL in D1 get a meal under the D1 routes exception? Wording seems to have disappeared from DL site (not that I would want a meal at midnight on a 3.5 hour redeye, but curious)

Would be shocked now that its marketed as D1 if it didnt. I am flying the route next month but on the A350 so it wont be the red eye.

There are so many glitches right now with DL. I have a current res for 4 months out where my seats are gone and it says Standby on it and tells me to get a seat at the airport. Additionally the desserts for all flights from LAX are showing as grilled shrimp lol

I also have been dealing with missing CI miles on a flight from TPE to Bali and its been over 6 weeks and havent got them and the responses from DL are taking so long. AA writes back typically within 24 hours but DL took 11 days just for an initial response.

I do not believe there is a D1 flight between those 2 cities

Yeah i think ATL - LAX are all classic first class not D1 unfortunately (for my co-worker who moved there from NYC not too long ago).
