A few more data points:
- Booked two hotel rooms for same stay dates, got points & MQDs 2 days after checkout. Easy peasy.
- Booked Alamo car rental. Received the double Delta miles, but no MQDs showing up. Will this correct itself eventually, or will I have to chase up?

Or could very well be that normal miles got credited right away, and MQDs will take weeks, maybe even with another promotional set of Skymiles.

Still waiting on my MQD/miles!
I stayed at a hotel in Mexico with check out date on 2/26. My miles havent posted yet! Interestingly I stayed at another hotel the weekend before also in Mexico, and those posted. My experience has been that they post very quickly. Do I need to wait 8 weeks for my res that ended on 2/26? Before inquiring about the miles?

Dame happened with my non-prepaid Alamo rental abroad: very fast credit of only miles, no MQD’s. In my case, the exact amount of Skymiles credited is slightly different from what was estimated in the booking confirmation. I guess it is the same in your case.

Surprisingly, 2 days later I received a very fast reply explaining that a credit can take up to 8 weeks, and only then I should reach to Delta and they will request info from the rental car company. But now they cannot do anything. Few hours later I am checking my Delta account, and MQD's for Alamo are suddenly there.
An agent clicking on that specific transaction from their interface must have pushed the MQD's that were stuck in the plumbing

My missing MQDs from stays I booked on Jan 5 (Feb 14 car and hotel) are missing still (one came through with miles, other missing in full). I filed a support ticket with Delta on Feb 25, but no word yet.
i tried calling into 18002211212 but they sent me to text, which sent me to Cars and Stays 18662021813, who then sent me to 18003232323, which then sent me back to text, who says they cant help.
Any advice before I go in circles more? Im assuming answer is just wait for their magic 8 weeks, but hoping before for status reasons.

In your confirmation email there is how many mqd you will earn? or only miles?
were they prepaid or pay at hotel?
it can take a looong time to get a reply from delta

Has anyone had success with changing a reservation after the booking window ended and still getting the MQDs? I need to add a hotel night and can just book a room for the night if needed, but would rather extend my existing booking for a night.

last week i tried to change dates, it was a pay at property, but when clicking in the final page to confirm the changes, always got errors. tried on the phone and the pc, same problem. so finally i had to cancel
I still hope maybe in Abril they repeat the MQD promo

yes, confirmation emails said MQD for both car and VRBO, booked right after they announced it on Jan 5. I sent images of that and the rules in on my

In your case it is safer to book 1 extra night separately. The hotel reception will simply let you stay in the same room of your earn them at the first check-in

I've tried that before and wasn't successful unfortunately. So I went ahead and changed it to add an additional night. Shall see. Couldn't modify car rental. So I'm going to call the agency directly and see what the options are.
