If FCO and ICN both get year round service, then perhaps the Max10 will take over what is currently 787 service on CUN/PVR/SJD/OGG/HNL. Has there been any word on when WS will take delivery of their Max10s, if they are even interested in them anymore?

The MAX 10 is too close to it's realistic ETOPS range for YYC-OGG/HNL (nominal range 800km less then the MAX 8). WS is still the worldwide launch customer, so as soon as certification is complete they will take the first deliveries, currently it seems most likely in Q4 this year.

Paris is covered by their partner AF. Heathrow is served by AC.
CPH might be doable with a Max, not sure they have any extra slots at LIS in addition to the YHZ service which is clearly just a placeholder for future YYC flights. Part of me would like to see them do something like YOW-BRU. BRU is just enough of a tourist destination and a YOW-BRU link sufficiently quirky that it sounds like something WS might attempt. I mean, who in the past thought they would ever link YYT with CDG or YYC with BCN?

Supposedly:
16W
183Y
No news on more than three lavs; however the recent 180 ****show has significantly amplified the pushback on that from individual employees as well as several of the Unions.
It is positive to see 199 total vs 212 announced previously.

I believe the 737-900ER and all the MAX variants have 26,035 litres fuel capacity, the wing and centre tanks are the same in all cases. Auxiliary tanks such as on the BBJ may be an option, but are pretty well useless for airlines such as WS, as they will be trading payload and seat capacity for range with auxiliary tanks, so will have rapidly increasing CASM. Even the standard full fuel capacity is difficult to use with a full flight and typical baggage / cargo load, as MTOW will be reached before a max range fuel load can be used.

Thanks,
I was on an Alaska Airlines flight on a brand new 737-900ER at the time and the Captain gave a spiel about the specs like it was a factory order BMW M3.

Now that they have sorted out what they want the seating capacity of the -800s and MAX8s to look like, I had sort of hoped that they would use the unexpected availability of planes to speed up the conversion of their inherited all-economy aircraft.

Oh it will be some time before the reconfiguration of the reconfigurations begins. although returning to a 174 LOPA; the reconfig-reconfigurations use entirely different seat models for Y and W than the previous already TC approved 174 LOPA. The seating units in that LOPA are around a decade old. The new seating units have completely new certifications; weights etc; not to mention an entirely new W seat manufacturer for a WS narrow body 174 LOPA.
My guess is late 2026 that the reconfig-reconfigurations begin. In meantime Max8s off the Boeing line are coming in 180 LOPA. so those new delivery tails will require a reconfiguration as well. So far 2 180s off Boeing line to my knowledge and counting.
