Oh it will be some time before the reconfiguration of the reconfigurations begins…. although returning to a 174 LOPA; the reconfig-reconfigurations use entirely different seat models for Y and W than the previous already TC approved 174 LOPA. The seating units in that LOPA are around a decade old. The new seating units have completely new certifications; weights etc; not to mention an entirely new W seat manufacturer for a WS narrow body 174 LOPA.
My guess is late 2026 that the reconfig-reconfigurations begin. In meantime Max8s off the Boeing line are coming in 180 LOPA…. so those new delivery tails will require a reconfiguration as well. So far 2 180s off Boeing line to my knowledge… and counting.
