IATA Survey Request after KLM flight?
Received this email following a KLM flight last week.
It is sent from IATA Passenger Survey Solutions, [email protected]
Is this a legitimate email? I have received passenger survey emails from KL/AF before, but not from IATA.
----
Thank you for flying with KLM from AMS to KIX on <date and time of flight>.As part of our commitment to improve passengers satisfaction, we would like to invite you to rate your recent travel experience.

To be fair, its stupidly easy to fake the sender address of an email- and all KLM are doing there are making it easier to pick a valid looking source email address...
The only sensible way is checking where the links go, and making a decision about whether or not you trust that destination.
For me, the fact the sender knew about a recent flight would nudge me into possibly trusting it, but certainly not the sender's email address being on list on KLM's website.

Above all, does it ask for any personal data / data that could be used for any sort of a scam? Most surveys don't, so normally I'd consider that a green/red flag before worrying about the domain.
Another thing is that while email address can be spoofed easily, URL of a website can't under normal circumstances (unless someone already has access to your network), so where the link leads should also be telling.
