Per the T&C: Not valid on purchases shipped outside the U.S. or gift card purchases.

From Lululemon- eGift card is through 3rd party by CashStar so I doubt, BUT physical gift card it has a SKU: 82015 . Does anyone know what this SKU is OR just the code for giftcard?

BTW- GC for Saks doesn't work for online either, only in store...

The terms also stated that gift card purchases are not eligible but I've always gotten the credit when buying physical gift cards online and have done this quite a number of times over the years. So I'm assuming it will work for this credit as well unless they put in some sort of mechanism to detect that it's gift card purchase and block it from triggering the credit in which case it will stop working for Amex offers (and Chase too) as well.

Have you ever tried an in-store gift card purchase? I've done the same as you online and it worked.

The T&Cs are meaningless here; no Amex benefit has ever officially supported gift cards (except maybe some clipped coupons that are specifically for them). It's just a question of what slips through coded as "real merchandise". If you read the T&Cs, gift cards don't even count for minimum spend SUBs.

I agree with others that it seems very likely physical GC will work and digital ones will not.

I guess I'm going to be the guinea pig and will buy a $75 gift card in the lululemon store tonight. It'll be part of my bike ride so I won't feel too guilty if it doesn't work out. And my +1's birthday is coming up anyway.

First person to try let us know - there's a physical lululemon store right next to the Saks here, so it's not a biggie for me to stop by both

Given how convenient it is for you to stop by, you are welcome to the first person to try.

I need some new lululemon (lost some weight by going to Equinox(!) a lot, so I need to size down my workout gear). Stopped by this AM and got a new shirt. These credits are extremely useful. Hotel credit especially.

I am (appropriate for this forum) traveling until next Wednesday, if nobody has tried it by then I'm happy to I also only said the Lululemon is close to the Saks, I didn't say how close those two were to me.

On the Lululemon in-store gift card question, I'm willing to bet it works. But worst case, buy something, and then return it for Lulu credit.

Feel stupid because, up to 2 weeks ago, I had never heard about Lululemon, but I just got a nice polo shirt for $59 and a pair of socks for $9.00. The guy in the photo is much better looking than I am, but I would be smiling, not frowning,

because I just got a "free" polo shirt. Thank you American Express!!!

Now I gotta see what kind of fancy bling ring I can get at Ouraring. I am hoping they have something straight from Middle Earth!

So the lululemon credit says US stores and online at lululemon.com.

Eligible purchases are purchases made directly with lululemon at lululemon stores (excluding lululemon Studio, outlet locations, warehouse, event locations, showroom and wholesale transactions) in the U.S., online at U.S. website lululemon.com or through the lululemon app. Not valid on purchases shipped outside the U.S. or gift card purchases.

When I go to lululemon.ca it redirects to lululemon.com. So do you think it's possible to purchase something from the website and pick it up in store? Probably not right? It's just dumb to see an item that is 148 cad while the us version of the same item is 148 USD.

In the past, I tried to claim an Amex Offer via the Canadian site, but it got billed through "LULULEMON CA" so it didn't trigger it. I'm assuming it will be the same here.

But totally agree, much more worth it CAD vs USD.
