I ask as I am on the fence about signing up now or waiting until 1st October.
i got the info from an insider

the idea was not to discriminate existing members vs new ones and make a smooth transition so everyone is equal on oct 1st

Perfect, makes sense, they should really add it into their FAQ's as it may be stopping people (like me) from subscribing until after the 1st October.

Thanks for passing on the info!

AI is the shittiest thing we could have created with billions that could have solved poverty around the world.

AccorPlus is using one that is nothing but dumb. When trying to chat with Ori, the only thing it knows to say is "In order to continue, we would need your membership number, please provide the information if possible." I believe Ori is as dumb as Siri on my iphone after over a decade of existence. It doesn't recognized any other response than a valid membership number.

So if you have issues with the subscription for sure there is no membership member. Hence the only solution is to send an email and be patient

update:

I called ALL team (France) to cancel my All Plus Voyageur (calls are recorded), they told me to reach Accor Plus. Sent the email to which i just got the response asking me to contact ALL team... wonderful customer journey

At some point they need to consider themselves as a global company with international customers. They need to have a single team handling issues or at least when you contact one team, it should be responsible for liaising with their counterparts instead of letting members being ping pong balls

When I cancelled my ALL Plus Voyageur (and All Plus Ibis) subscriptions for my account earlier this year, this was done by the regular CS team. I contacted them through the Support pages on the regular Accor website (not Accor Plus). I remember having to press that I do want these cancelled and would not get a refund.

BTW, when the Accor Plus bot requests your membership number, you can just give them your ALL Accor number instead. While it can change in its entirety, a part of it is constant I think (there should be threads about this somewhere here). When checking your number through the iOS app > Account and then swipe down, I get my membership number in XXXXXXX XXXXXXXX X format. Recently the Accor Plus team pro-actively opened a case for me and referred to my PMID as the bolded part. I did a quick check through my emails over the years and the bolded part has always remained the same (even before/after status changes or when moving to/from Accor Plus).

This does not mean though that my experience with chat is necessarily better than email… In a lot of cases, the agent would open a ticket anyways.

I knew this will take a longer time to process so I decided to call directly instead of reaching out to CS by email. Over the phone the representative asked me to wait, he went asking for info and reverted back to me with me sending an email to Accor Plus as the only solution while he should have handled the case.
Not only they are poorly trained but if they go ask for info that it is incorrect this team the CC supervisor is even more poorly trained or incompetent

This was in an e-mail I received from member services regarding that very question:

Yes, a bonus 20 Status nights have been credited to your account today (09 Sep 2025).

An additional bonus 10 Status nights will be credited to your account on 01 Oct 2025, and you will receive an immediate upgrade to GOLD status tier then.
Best Regards,

The current complimentary night counts as long as something else is charged to the room.
If the rules stay the same, the 2 for 1 will count (as you don't have much choice but to charge an extra night!)

There has typically been a small discount. There has also been offers this year of 10 bonus nights for on-time renewal. I'm sure there have been other offers..../

Accor Plus Free Night

Normally the free night (2 BOGOFF nights after 1st Oct) must be used within the membership year, but they are currently offering "Pay for 12 months and get 14 months" so wondering will I have 14 months to use my free night (BOGOFF nights)?

Any one any ideas?

Hello! After a bit of an ordeal, I've just signed up for Accor+ Explorer (having previously had the Accor Plus Voyageur). I did have a few questions. I'm looking at booking two rooms in Vietnam (Movenpick Villa Phu Quoc or MGallery Phu Quoc*).

*any advice/recommendations on these hotels or other more general Phu Quoc recommendations would also be welcome and greatly appreciated

If I am able to secure Platinum (28 current nights + 30 Accor+ Explorer sign-up + 2 nights elsewhere beforehand = 60 nights):

1. Would Mrs. CWA14 and I get free breakfast regardless of rate booked if I qualify for Platinum?

2. Would our friend in the additional room get free breakfast if she's on our reservation based on me being Platinum?

3. Would the additional room I booked for my friend count towards status nights for me if they're on the same reservation? (I never booked multiple rooms w/ the Voyageur card so I don't know if this is a thing or not).

Thanks in advance!
