I'm looking at the Accor subscriptions. I can see Explorer is for Asia Pacific, but does Accor prevent you from signing up to this if you are in Europe? Just looking at the benefits and instant gold seems better than instant silver on the Voyager subscription for a very similar price.

Its a strange calculation. I just booked my stay using 1 stay plus night. Its more a discounted booking than a real 1+1. The room night seems complimentary but probably not the taxes, like for award flight tickets while with the previous programme the 1-night booking was fully complimentary.

Here are the details of my booking in the confirmation email
1 paid night (flex rate) + 1 stay plus night from April 12 till 14
I expected like 1 night with a price and 1 with 0 but i go this, which is not even equal to 50% for each night, the Monday night being more expensive than the Sunday one (not surprising tho) but comparing them with 2 paid nights with All Plus Explorer, using the stay plus night doesn't seem to be competitive
As my only trip to Asia will be during this period next year and I have no plan to return afterwards in 2026, I'd rather use this stay plus night or lose it anyways

Indeed if you don't plan to go to APAC and have no need for the status nights, then there is no reason for you to subscribe.

I'm not sure what happened but, with only 11,007 status points and 46 nights (including the 30 from Accor Plus), I just made it Plat for next year this morning?!? (with congratulations splash screen on the app)
Congratulations, you've kept your Platinum Status!
Platinum member - Until 2026/12/31

Not quite sure how this works... from what OP says he currently has Plat status but for this year hasn't met the criteria (11,007 status 46 nights) and should lose Plat status by 31/12/25. Yet when the Accor Plus changes kicked in on 01 Oct 25 he was renewed without meeting the criteria, till 31/12/26.
I read another post about how the old Accor Plus assessment method for Status was at the point of Plus subscription renewal, and it would use either the previous year or the current year's points and nights to decide on status. But that the new T&C starting 01 Oct 25 in clause 2.9 has standardised the assessment method to the start of the new year, to be in line with the ALL programme.
So... was there a glitch or was there one final status assessment based on the old T&C, done on 01 Oct 25?
My friend is in the same situation, Plat since last year, has 12,000+ points and 30+ nights, and also has a Plus subscription. She was planning to work to 14,000 points by year-end but now has been renewed to 2026, and her app shows her new target is to achieve Diamond. She's not pleased because it seems to mean that she won't be getting the 2 Suite Night Upgrades which she would have gotten if she had renewed Plat the normal way. And she's already put in the effort to almost hit 14,000 status points...
For those who have renewed Plat more than once, do the Suite upgrade certs come in the moment you reach the criteria for renewal, or on 01 Jan of the following year?
Thanks in advance, don't know much about the ALL programme
