It's looked like AF has tested this with several La P equipped making runs to TLV in the last month (whether or not they are selling the cabin). I would actually think it's a good move for AF in this climate if they can make it work. Currently, US based airlines are in and out, while other than LY, AF and Emirates/Fly Dubai have been consistent since late 2023. LY's new J product on the 787's is great, but they don't have a lot of seats to sell and don't fly on shabbat. I would think that there is demand for ex-US traffic with a connection in CDG and a La P to La P connection (JFK/LAX/MIA/IAD). I normally fly LY several times a year and I would swap to AF P.
I would have never bet on TLV, especially in the current context. And I always heard from AF (before Covid) that TLV was low yield, hence the A320 with just EuroJ service. Then finally they put long haul planes with a proper J class. And now P !! That’s very good.
BEY has been an historical P route with a significant demand for this. It has always been served with widebodies as far as I remember and has always been a high yield destination for AF. P was removed from BEY during Covid when the A380 fleet was withdrawn and B77W with P were needed for the routes with the strongest P demand. BEY was certainly not the most priority route for P during that time. But I was sure they would put P again to BEY as soon as more aircrafts would be available.

Happily, yes. I must say the new cabin is spectacular. I was in 1A and there was no one next to me so the divider in the middle stayed closed the entire flight. On my side with the curtains open and all the space it was lovely. I must say I think they thought of nearly everything in the placement of needs around the seat. Storage, plugs, screens... While I did not sleep I spent much of the flight on the "sofa" side because the screen to watch from there is higher on the bulkhead and gets much less glare with the window shades open.

I finally pulled the trigger and booked a La Première flight to Singapore this December, and it happens to be on the new La Première suite. It’ll be my first time flying LP, so I’m really curious to experience it for myself.
My routing is MUC–CDG–SIN.
I’ve read a few reports in this thread about less-than-stellar ground service in FRA, but haven’t come across much information about MUC. Munich is my home base and I fly out of there almost every week, so I know some of the ground and lounge staff quite well, and I’m casually familiar with the station manager. Still, I’d rather not give any heads-up about my La Première booking and just see how the experience unfolds without mentioning anything in advance or drawing attention to it. I think it might also be helpful for others to get an idea of what the "standard" ground experience in MUC is like when flying LP.
Has anyone flown La Première out of MUC recently and can share how the ground experience was?
Due to an IT glitch during booking, I was only able to select 1A and 1D, and couldn’t pick the two center suites. I just left it like that for now. However, after reading through this thread and watching a few videos about the new LP suite layout, I’m now second-guessing that decision.
I’ll be flying with my girlfriend – what would you recommend: stick with 1A and 1D, or try to switch to the center pair of suites?

Helpfulness of La P Email / FB Plat
I am flying NCE-CDG-JFK next week and since my connecting is tight I was thinking of moving to an earlier NCE-CDG flight. Unfourtunately I booked via AMEX and centurion services is a shambles over there.
If I wait until OLCI can I move to an earlier flight or can the FB Plat or La P email line help me? The app won’t let me because I used AMEX

I wonder if this is due to them optimizing for the new cabin layout? It's not clear to me my flight will have it (from SFO, though next summer).

Looks like another AF Bird has completed its refit at BOD and is complete with New La Premiere, F-GSQE.
https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/f-gsqe
Based on my observations, if a refit is being undertaken it takes about 71 days. If in ORY it takes 109 days.
