Time to head to the second tour. Now the question is… will it be the same as the first one or completely different places? It is a different tour provider so we shall see.

Group of 12 tonight, a group of 6 ladies, 3 solo ladies, and a couple. Let’s see if everyone binds better on this one.

Stop 2 and Deja Vu 2, Tendinha

Cod cake and green wine again, I have upgraded to a beer, not a fan of the green wine

We are now on the way to Stop 3 and definitely not been to this one
Public elevator number 1

Elevator number 2, inside a supermarket!

And the viewpoint from the top

Stop 3, Cantinho do Aziz

Samosa and red wine on this stop, unexpected and interesting choice
Almost forgot a photo, that chilli sauce is lethal! The samosa is nothing amazing, but tastes OK, maybe a little bland compared to what I am used to.

This tour guide is an absolute mine of information and talks extensively at every stop. It’s both a good and a bad thing in that what she is imparting is interesting but she gets grumpy if individuals are talking whilst she is imparting her information which means people aren’t getting a real chance to chat.
I just used the toilet and wished I hadn’t, the inside of the door, pretty grim

Not a recommended stop

Stop 4, and we are back on the beaten track at Solar da Madalena.

Started with a soup which was not to my taste, no surprises there

And then the pork belly roll again which was just as good as last time

Stop 6, back to the beaten track, Casa do Alentejo
The fountain of friendship

We are tucked away in a small dining room away from the madding crowds. It is an absolute zoo out in the main area.

Red wine, white wine, and beer for drinks
Chickpea and cod salad

Olives

Assorted Cheeses

Flaming Chorizo

Which ended up cremated

No idea what this was, dishes were flying everywhere!

Add lastly, egg and chorizo

Now finally back in the hotel at 21:07, six hours before the alarm goes off in preparation for the return trip tomorrow. That was a good tour, better than the morning one despite us visiting many of the same spots.
It’s goodnight from me, back in 7 hours or so
