My question is will just clicking on "I have already completed this form"...which i have NOT done be best?
We only will have carry on bags, so I am worried that this whole issue will make online check in unavailable...I don't want to get to airport early to check in (we are leaving from small airport where you can get there 45 minutes before flight and have 1/2 hour to sit at gate!

So we did not add her FF number to her reservation. Now with the new reservation, we would like to apply the two eCredits to seat selection. But at checkout, there is only an option to enter a credit card number. I do not see any place to pay from existing eCredits.

Aircraft change from 757 to A330 one month out?
I am flying MSP-PHX on DL in late January and noticed this week that the aircraft for that flight on the app has changed from a 757 to an A330. This would be a pretty significant aircraft change, however the seat map still appears to be the one for the 757. Is this likely a glitch or does it normally take awhile for the seat map to update? Im really hoping this change is real but it is pretty close in at this point so it seemed odd. Thanks!

Seems kind of late, but could be possibly a one-off flight due to demand. Not seeing anything in schedule currently, but they usually load schedule updates on Saturday mornings. Seatmaps usually stabilize that night or on Sunday. They do run daily A330s on DTW-PHX and ATL-PHX in January.

Free checked bag
Ive just been upgraded to Gold Medallion status through a status match. I have a US domestic flight coming up and want to fly Delta to take full advantage of my newly minted status. I will need to check a bag, but am I right in assuming that I can just book a cheap hand baggage only fare and still check my bag in for free at the airport? It seems thats how it works, but I just want to be sure

ETA: You can also use the Baggage Calculator, which confirms the above:
https://www.delta.com/us/en/baggage/overview
Putting in a domestic flight, Basic Economy, Gold Medallion shows 2 70 lb bags.

OP would still receive two free bags even if on a Basic Economy ticket. That said, to utilize most other benefits that come with Gold Medallion, OP would probably not want to book Basic Economy. Booking Basic Economy would result in no MQDs towards retaining status and no Skymiles earned and OP would not be eligible for C+ or First Class upgrades.

Gold Medallions get two free checked bags up to 70 lbs domestically in the US.
